Virginia Heart Attack Coalition’s “Drive to 75” Campaign Having an Impact in Virginia

VHAC’s “Drive to 75” campaign, an effort to reduce the median First Medical Contact to Balloon time to 75 minutes or less in Virginia, is starting to show results.  Thanks to the great work of STEMI stakeholders across the Commonwealth, the Virginia State Median dropped to a record low 77 minutes for 3rd Quarter 2016 per the ACTION Registry.  This effort includes a heavy emphasis on equipping all trucks with 12 leads, prehospital activation of the cardiac cath lab, and limiting hospital delays with ED Bypass.

Mark you calendar for the 2017 VHAC State Meeting on May 19th in Lynchburg, Virginia and learn more about this exciting STEMI quality initiative!!  Registration opens soon.
